Yesterday, our 4th and 5th graders hopped on a bus and headed to Camp Pinewood. Accompanied by Mrs. Wagner, Ms. Kaid and several parent chaperones, the students will spend the three days enjoying nature and taking part in many fun team building activities. Take a look at what they’re up to!
McDonald students will take part in our city Clean-up Parade on Thursday, May 8. The parade will take place at 1:30. Please call the office with any questions you may have.

Our first literacy night was a HUGE success! Parents and students enjoyed many fun, literacy rich activities–even a play put on by our awesome 5th graders! Thank you parents and students for your support in making this a successful event!

We had state representative, Harvey Santana read to Mrs. Saad and Mrs. Morrison’s kindergartens. They enjoyed listening to “The Wolf Who Cried Boy”, and other classic stories.
The second graders had a special guest reader on Tuesday. Dr. Chochol (Director of Elementary Education) read to Mrs. Hachem’s students, who were so engaged in the story.
The kindergartners had a special guest reader today….Mrs. Saad!! The children listened to an all time favorite: The Five Little Monkeys!
