      Our first literacy night was a HUGE success!  Parents and students enjoyed many fun, literacy rich activities–even a play put on by our awesome 5th graders!  Thank you parents and students for your support in making this a successful event!

Parent Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday, March 27th.  If your child is scheduled for a conference, you will have received a note from their teacher. Any questions can be referred to the office (313) 827-6700

We had state representative, Harvey Santana read to Mrs. Saad and Mrs. Morrison’s kindergartens. They enjoyed listening to “The Wolf Who Cried Boy”, and other classic stories.

The second graders had a special guest reader on Tuesday. Dr. Chochol (Director of Elementary Education) read to Mrs. Hachem’s students, who were so engaged in the story.

The kindergartners had a special guest reader today….Mrs. Saad!! The children listened to an all time favorite: The Five Little Monkeys!

    The McDonald Students got a SUPER special surprise from Jersey!! Jersey is Mrs. Biolette’s dog…she spent the whole day with us!  Jersey came to school to kick off a special Student Council fundraiser for the Dearborn Animal Shelter. The Student Council is asking for pet related items to donate to the animal shelter. …

Happy Friday everyone!  Today was Mismatched Day at school! Here’s a few students who came to school a bit mixed up! Next Friday, March 21st will be CRAZY HAIR/CRAZY HAT DAY!!!
