Today our 3rd-5th graders went on a fun filled field trip to Comerica Park! Students took part in an awesome lesson on weather which included a demonstration using liquid nitrogen to form a cloud. After the lesson, students watched the Tigers take on the Rangers!
This year we are getting parents involved on a whole new way at McDonald Elementary! Dads are now volunteering their time in classrooms and around our school thanks to a new program dedicated to getting our dads in to our hallways and classrooms called Watch D.O.G.S–Dads of Great Students! City wide event will showcase only the best high school talent in town! Talented high school students from across Dearborn will compete for top honors at the first-ever “Dearborn’s Got Talent!” show on Tuesday, May 13, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.Tickets are on sale now! Yesterday, our 4th and 5th graders hopped on a bus and headed to Camp Pinewood. Accompanied by Mrs. Wagner, Ms. Kaid and several parent chaperones, the students will spend the three days enjoying nature and taking part in many fun team building activities. Take a look at what they’re up to!
