March is just a few short days away and that means  March is Reading Month is here! The theme this year is CAMP READ-A-LOT.  Our kick-off is March 1st and we are starting things off with Class Color Day! Students will wear a specified color based on what grade they are in: kindergarten–red 1st grade–orange…

We hope you are enjoying a relaxing snow day!  Just a reminder that our amazing PTA will be hosting a bake sale tomorrow, February 26. Baked goods may be sent to school with your child in the morning. As always, volunteers are welcome to help throughout the afternoon. We look forward to a SWEET Friday!

Dearborn students are coming together to support the effort to provide clean water to the people of Flint.  All schools in Dearborn will be collecting cases of water to donate to the citizens of Flint. Please support our effort to help those in need.  We are asking for students to donate a case of water….

Thank you Mrs. Duncanson for putting together a wonderful assembly.  Singers from Kenya, Norway, Albania, and Malaysia came to McDonald to not only sing…but share a little bit about the countries they are from!      

Just a friendly reminder that there will be no school on Monday, January 18th for MLK jr. Day. Also, on Wednesday, January 20, students will have a late start.  School will begin at 9:30a.m.  There will be no breakfast served on Wednesday.
