Today, June 16th, is the last day of school for the 2015-2015! School will end at 11:45am  Don’t forget to check backpacks for the Summer Learning calendar and media center schedule for summer hours. The staff and administration at McDonald Elementary wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable summer!  

McDonald Elementary media center will be open this summer! Check out books, listen to stories, arts & crafts,computer time and more! So much to do…come visit!

CHANGE OF DATE-–the 5th grade promotion program has been changed.  The program will be on Thursday, June 16th at 10:00 a.m.

Please join us tomorrow morning at 8:45a.m. for our last PTA meeting of the year. Also, don’t forget to send in your baked good donations for the bake sale tomorrow!

There will be an important parent meeting Tuesday, May 17th from 5:00-6:00 pm at Unis Middle School. This meeting is for families of all incoming 6th grade students.   Information will be provided regarding middle school procedures, summer learning opportunities, and MORE! We look forward to seeing you there!

Fifth graders participated in our first ever Career Day today!  Dr. Reed coordinated with classroom teachers to put together an awesome event.   Visitors included a police officer, doctors, librarian, fire fighter, news broadcaster, and a representative from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.  Thank you to all who participated! 

Tomorrow, May 11 will be our last late start of the year.  Please remember that students should eat breakfast at home and arrive at school by 9:30.
