Notes for summer school went home with selected students yesterday, June 4th.  Please ask your child if they received an orange note or check their backpack.  Permission slips need to be returned as school as possible so that teachers can plan for summer school. Thank you for your cooperation!

Another school year is coming to an end!  For your planning purposes, the last day of school for students at McDonald Elementary will be Wednesday, June 10th.  Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. The staff and administration at McDonald Elementary wish you and your family a happy summer!  

   Mark your calendars! Please join us Tuesday, June 9 at 2:15pm for the 5th grade promotion ceremony!  

Just a friendly reminder that 5th grade students attending Unis Middle School will have an orientation tonight (6-2-15) at 6:30pm. Important information about the upcoming school year will be shared. Please make plans to attend this important meeting to ensure your child’s success as they move from elementary to middle school.

Our preschool students and their teachers, Mrs. Roe & Ms. Ibrahim, put together a fun filled day to raise money for St. Jude Hospital. Students learned about bike safety and then practiced their bicycle skills on the playground. Thanks to all of the students and parents who donated to such an amazing cause!   

A big round of applause to Mr. Gozzard and his band and orchestra students!  These students took part in a collaborative band concert featuring McDonald and Oakman students.   Thank you to Mr. Awada and to Mrs. Modica for putting together a wonderful evening!

   The instrumental music students at McDonald and Oakman schools will combine their musical talents on Thursday, May 28th at 6:00 pm at Oakman Elementary School. Band and orchestra students should arrive no later than 5:30 to warm up and setup. Please come support your McDonald Panthers for a night of fine arts!
