Our first late start will be on Wednesday, October 7th.  School is delayed one hour for teacher meetings. School will begin at 9:30a.m.–this is also Count Day, so it is important that your child be in school on time. Remember that breakfast is not served at school on late start days.

Mark your calendars… This week, students will be off Wednesday, September 23-Sunday, September 27. School will resume Monday, September 28th. To those celebrating Eid, enjoy the holiday!

Open house will be held Thursday, September 17th from 4:30-6:00.  This is a wonderful opportunity to visit your child’s classroom and see the amazing things they are working on! Don’t forget to stop by the PTA table to join our PTA! Just $10 per family!  

Please do not wait until the first day of school to register your new student or kindergartner.   The office will be registering students Monday-Friday from 9-11am and from 1-3pm.

The staff and administration at McDonald Elementary hope everyone enjoyed their summer! School begins Tuesday, September 8, 2015.  This is a half day for students in grades 1-5.  School will run from 8:35-11:45. Parent of kindergarten students will receive their schedules in the mail. We look forward to seeing you September 8th!   

This week our new kindergarten students met their teachers! Incoming students attended four days of school to give them a “jumpstart” on the new year.
