We have so much FUN planned out for March is Reading Month!  Don’t forget to volunteer as a guest reader for your child’s classroom–just let their teacher know you want to come in and read!

We are also having a schoolwide Myon Reading Contest.  Ask your child if they have logged on to Myon today!  The grade that reads the most minutes in March earns a special treat!

Take a peek at our March is Reading Month Calendar!

Midwinter Break

Hope everyone is staying warm this week!! Don’t forget that every student received a homework packet for midwinter break.

Students should be visiting the websites mentioned daily–one math and one literacy. Also check under the NWEA website page for more info on logins and websites.

See you all Monday, February 23rd!

NWEA Testing

Over the next 3 weeks, students in grades K-5 will be taking the NWEA test.  K-2 students take the Reading and Math test.  Students in grades 3-5 will be taking Reading, Math, Science, and Language Usage portions.

Please be sure that your child is prepared by making sure they eat breakfast before they come to school.  Students may eat breakfast in the cafeteria starting at 8:10 a.m.  Students should also be getting enough rest at night and sleeping at a reasonable hour.

If you have any further questions regarding NWEA, feel free to contact your child’s teacher.
