Wayel- 1st grade
A few weeks ago, 2nd grade students created edible landforms!
Student council, sponsored by Mrs. Wagner has been hard at work! This year, student council members are making blankets for their feline friends at the animal shelter!
Don’t forget that Literacy Night will be MONDAY, March 30 from 5:00-6:00pm
There will be many fun activities for families to take part in! Face painting, BINGO, Pete the Cat puppets, and SO MUCH MORE!

Now that the installation of our new security system is complete, there will be new procedures in place to ensure the safety of all students.
1. Only students eating breakfast may enter through Door #1 at 8:10am
2. For all other students, Door #1, by the office, will be unlocked at 8:25am
3. Doors will be unlocked at dismissal for Kindergarten parents at 3:25 pm and at 8:35pm for grades 1-5
4. At no time prior to dismissal should parents or siblings be in the hallways
5. If you are visiting, please buzz in and report to the office
6. In case of severe weather, doors will open at 8:20 am for arrival and 3:30 pm for dismissal.
Again we appreciate your support in following the above procedures! Our priority is the safety of our student.
Congratulations to Mrs. Dgheish and Mrs. Blasko on earning the PTA Distinguished Service Award! Mrs. Jadallah and Mrs. Aljalham were also honored for being active members of the PTA.

Yesterday we had a SUPER kickoff to March is Reading Month! Our teachers FLEW in for a SUPERHERO surprise during morning assembly.
We have so much FUN planned out for March is Reading Month! Don’t forget to volunteer as a guest reader for your child’s classroom–just let their teacher know you want to come in and read!
We are also having a schoolwide Myon Reading Contest. Ask your child if they have logged on to Myon today! The grade that reads the most minutes in March earns a special treat!
