We had state representative, Harvey Santana read to Mrs. Saad and Mrs. Morrison’s kindergartens. They enjoyed listening to “The Wolf Who Cried Boy”, and other classic stories.
The second graders had a special guest reader on Tuesday. Dr. Chochol (Director of Elementary Education) read to Mrs. Hachem’s students, who were so engaged in the story.
Mid Winter Break begins on February 17, 2014! The staff at McDonald Elementary wishes you a safe and restful break! Students will return to school Monday, February 24, 2014. Hopefully we will get some much needed warm weather during this break.

Bingo for Books Literacy Night! All children will win a prize! Bingo for books will be held on Monday, November 25 from 3:45-4:45. EVERY CHILD GOES HOME WITH AT LEAST ONE BOOK. Ticket prices are $2 in advance and $3 at the door. Please plan to attend this fun filled event with your child.
